  • USW 5-A-Side Football Festival

    USW 5-A-Side Football Festival

     

    On wednesday this week, 10 children from Year 5 and Year 6 will be taking part in a 5-a-side tournament in Newport Leisure Centre. They will be practising and developing their football skills with other schools in Newport. Mr Hodson will be accompanying them for the day. Please can the children have their PE kits on (please see the letter) and tracksuit bottoms with trainers. The event will be indoors and they will need to bring lunch/drinks with them for the day.

    YEMEN Appeal and CAFOD 'Come as you please'

     

    We recently held 2 charity days in school, for the Yemen crisis and the CAFOD come as you please day. Below is how much we raised for each appeal.

     

    Yemen Crisis Appeal - 455 pounds.

    CAFOD Come as you Please - 200 pounds.

    Total Raised - 655 pounds

    The Children really did us proud with their vocal and instrumental performances at St Josephs RC High school! A big thank you to all those involved in making the event such a great success.  
  • FSA Day 2017

    Make sure you visit the FSA 2017 page on our website to see all the new and exciting things that the children got up to on this special day. It began with a pantomime based on healthy living and reducing bacteria, and the children went into groups to engage in workshop activities.
