THIS WEEK'S LEARNING Week Beginning 12.03.18

Maths - We are going to be multiplying 3 digit numbers by a single digit. Then we will be looking at linking it to angles. 

English- This week Y5 will be looking at a suspense story called Hobnail.

Topic - We are comparing castles in Wales and in Greece 

Welsh - We are learning the different parts of the body in Welsh 

Art/DT - This week we will be looking at biscuits and the different textures and flavours 

RE - We are looking at Judas' betrayal of Jesus. 

PE - We are looking at learning how to play Lacrosse.

Class discussion - Why is Lent important for Christians?



Pupils in Y5 have maths homework every Friday which consolidates learning in class during that week. 


Homework is to be handed in to Mr Shepherd on a Wednesday.


Homework given out on Friday 9th February 2018: To calculate the areas of different shapes


Spellings - Given every Friday for a test the following Friday. This week's words are the key vocabulary words from our RE Topic -Sacrifice
