In Knowledge and Understanding the children will learn about farm animals. They will learn about the needs of animals and what an animal needs to survive.
Our Maths this term will be based around a farm theme e.g a farm shop, farm shop money problems, weights/measure in farm food recipes etc.
This week we have enjoyed a fun filled week of music. It started on Monday with a performance from a live rock and pop band! The children absolutely loved it. On Wednesday they experienced listening to and playing Celtic folk instruments as part of our Celtic Folk workshop. On Thursday they thoroughly enjoyed a lively samba workshop where they explored this style of music. We ended the day with a samba carnival which was great fun! Look out for the photographs on our webpage and twitter page.
In all the fun we still found time to go over past papers. Please could you work through the papers at home as well. I have sent home a copy of two full past papers. Please don’t feel that these have to be handed in next week. There is a lot to get through so hand them in after half term. Please however send your child’s folder back into school next week so that I can provide additional test papers for over the Easter holidays.
We are still missing a girl’s grey cardigan and PE kit. Please could you kindly check if your child has brought it home by mistake.
Thank you as always for your continued support.
